Nicole Albano
Nicole Albano has been working in public relations since 2004, bringing more than 20 years of experience across PR, marketing, and events, along with five formative years working front of house in hospitality. Her dual perspective as both a communications strategist and a former industry insider informs the thoughtful, high-impact campaigns she leads today.
Before founding Bolster Media, Nicole served as an Account Director at Bullfrog & Baum, one of the nation’s top hospitality PR firms, where she oversaw programs for celebrated chefs and restaurant groups including Bobby Flay, José Andrés, Marc Vetri, Dale Talde, Zak Pelaccio, Sara Moulton, and Starr Restaurants. She also directed culinary programming for brands such as Mercedes-Benz and Bruce Cost Ginger Ale, blending storytelling and experience-driven marketing.
Earlier in her career, Nicole honed her communications expertise in the luxury lifestyle sector, holding positions at leading PR agencies including MikeWorldWide, London Misher Public Relations, and The Bromley Group. During this time, she managed campaigns for major brands such as UGG Australia, QVC, Saks Fifth Avenue, Sara Lee Corporation, and 1-800-FLOWERS, developing a strong foundation in brand storytelling, media relations, and integrated marketing.
At Bolster Media, Nicole leads communications strategy and media relations for a diverse roster of clients across the culinary and lifestyle landscape. Her work spans chefs and culinary personalities, restaurants, cookbook launches, CPG products, nonprofits, and organizations in the impact and sustainability space, where she develops integrated storytelling strategies that connect brand values with cultural relevance.
Known for her deep media relationships and track record of national placements that span The Today Show, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Food & Wine, Bon Appétit, Cherry Bombe, Entrepreneur, GQ, Esquire, and Vogue, Nicole is recognized for crafting narratives that elevate brands beyond the dining room.
A proud Italian and lifelong food lover, Nicole’s passion was sparked in the bakery where her grandmother worked. Today she’s an avid home cook, cheese enthusiast, and craft beer fan, and lives in the Hudson Valley with her husband and two-year-old son.
